The Academia de Artes (AA; German: Academy of the Arts ) is a Mexican art scientific institution based in the Museo Nacional de San Carlos, Mexico City.

The Academy was founded in 1967/1968 due to an Executive Order of 12 December 1966. The aim of the Academy is the appreciation of services rendered to the Mexican culture, the promotion of individual work as well as scientific advice in the service of the country. The Academia de Artes include numerous well-known representatives of the various art movements, art historian and art critic in the country.
