Academy Award for Best Original Song

With the Oscar for best song, the songwriter of a film to be honored.

When at the last awards in 2007 and 2008, a film production had provided three of the five nominated songs, , with effect from June 19, 2008 no more than two pieces of a film under the final nominees reach ( the pre-selection of music pieces per film is on the other hand still unlimited).
