The Accademia di belle arti di Venezia is one of the most prestigious art schools in Italy.

History

The Accademia di belle arti di Venezia was founded on September 24, 1750 in Venice. Giovanni Battista Tiepolo was the first president. Were initially taught the subjects, Portrait, Landscape, Sculpture. In 1756 it was officially recognized by the Senate of the Republic of Venice and received during the presidency of Giovanni Battista Tiepolo the name Accademia di belle arti di Venezia.
