Access Industries is a US-based investment company, which was founded by Russian-born billionaire Leonard Blavatnik U.S. in 1986.

In March 2007, the luxury hotel Grand Hôtel du Cap -Ferrat was bought in Saint -Jean- Cap- Ferrat for 215 million euros over the STT Properties.

  • Air Berlin - 18.94 % share - sold

On 6 March 2008 it was announced that the Access Industries will take over the share of 18.56 percent of vatas holding of Robert Hersov and thus becomes major owner of the airline Air Berlin. A spiked to 18.94 percent was on 19 May 2008 by the AI Aviation Coöperatief UA taken with headquarters in Amsterdam. The AI Aviation Coöperatief et al is used by the AI SMS L.P. and the AI Aviation Holdings LLC dominates, which in turn a subsidiary of AI SMS LP are. AI SMS L.P. is a subsidiary of Access Industries Holdings LLC, which is controlled by Access Industries Holdings LLC, which is a subsidiary of Access Industries, LLC, which is owned by Len Blavatnik.

As announced on 8 January 2009 Blavatnik has its share of 18.94 percent, Air Berlin sold again.
