Acer Inc.
The Acer Inc (宏 碁Chinese, Pinyin Hongqi ) is a Taiwanese computer company headquartered in Taipei. It was founded in 1976 by Stan Shih under the name Multitech, and in 1987 received its current name ( after the Latin word for violent / hot / hard / sharp ). Conservation
In the Greenpeace "Guide to Greener Electronics " Acer lands in terms of environmental protection at # 4 of 16 electric manufacturers (as of Dec. 2012; Location 1 is the most environmentally friendly ).
