Ach. Brito

Ach. Brito Cosmética is the name of a Portuguese soap and perfume factory based in Fajozes.

The two German chemists Ferdinand Claus and Georges Ph. Schweder, who had emigrated mid-19th century in Portugal, founded in 1887 in Porto, the first soap and perfume factory in the country under the name of Claus & Schweder. This was later visited by the Portuguese King Dom Manuel II. 1914 fled the two Germans because of the First World War from Portugal, which led to the closure of their factory. 1918 took over Achilles de Brito management and integrated the two companies' products as different brands under one roof. Since 1995, the products of the brand Claus Porto are sold consisting of the oil of the Karitébaums world.
