The language of Acheron (also called garme, the ISO 639-3 is acz ) is one of four Tocho languages ​​within the kordofanischen language group spoken south of the area of the Nuba Mountains in the Sudanese province of Kordofan.

The Speaker of the tagoi are increasingly assimilated by the Arabic-speaking majority society, therefore the number of Acheron speaker is negligible.

There are two dialects, western and eastern.
