Achim Fiedler

Achim Fiedler (born 1965 in Stuttgart ) is a German conductor.

Achim Fiedler began his violin studies at the Cologne College of Music and continued his studies in London in 1989 continued. During his time in London he played in chamber music ensembles. From 1990, his conductor studies in Milan, followed by further study at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart began.

After finishing his studies he conducted various orchestras in Europe. In 1996 he represented the diseased Rudolf Baumgartner as conductor of the Lucerne Festival Strings, whose artistic director since 1998.
