Acrobatic gymnastics

Under Acrobatic Gymnastics ( FIG- term engl. Acrobatic gymnastics ) refers floor or partner or group acrobatics as a competitive sport.

Sports Acrobatics is represented in Switzerland by the Sports Union Switzerland (SUS ) and in Germany by the German Sports Acrobatics Federation ( DSAB ).

International Sports Acrobatics is the same as General Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Sport Aerobics by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique ( FIG, International Gymnastics Federation ) and the Union Européenne de Gymnastique (LEL, European Gymnastics Union) represented.

Rules after DSAB

Sports acrobatics gymnastics on a twelve meters wide, sprung floor area. The competition program consists of a balance, a dynamic, and a combined exercise as a multi- fight. Master track is also for the balance - or dynamic exercise. These are fundamentally different in character. All exercises must be choreographed for a maximum of two and a half minutes of instrumental music. In each exercise 6 elements must be included. In the Combined Balance each of 3 and 3 Dynamic elements.

There are five acrobatic disciplines:

  • Women Couples
  • Mr. pairs
  • Mixed Couples ( lady owner)
  • Women's Groups (3 ladies)
  • Mr. groups (4 men)

Nor the disciplines podium ladies and gentlemen podium at the national level are added.

The contests are still divided into age groups of students, youth, juniors and seniors.

For all compositions, the provisions of the Code of Points ( Rules for Sports Acrobatics ), and the Kürkataloges must be considered. Both are revised by the FIG every four years and passed on to the states. Special aspects for Germany are governed by the competition rules of the DSAB.

Championships: Each year there are German championships, for which one must first qualify in the state itself. There are a total 30.00 points; of which will be deducted when you make a mistake. There are also International Championships, where world champions are determined.

Switzerland

In Switzerland, the Acrobatic Gymnastics 1992-2012 was represented by the Swiss Sports Acrobatics Association. Since then, this function takes the Sportunion Switzerland, the International Winti Cup led by 2012, the first Swiss Championships in sports acrobatics. The best-known Swiss sports club is the acrobatics acrobatics & Devices squad Winterthur, whose athletes won the first Swiss Championships also the most medals.
