Acta Sociologica

Acta Sociologica. Journal of the Nordic Sociological Association is the English-language journal of the Scandinavian Sociology Association. It is explicitly open to contributions from non - Scandinavians. The quarterly was founded by Theodor Geiger and has been published since 1955. It is published by sociologists of the Swedish University of Gothenburg.

The magazine in 2012 had an impact factor of 0.714, which was on rank 82 out of 137 in the Social Science Citation Index journals considered in the category Sociology.
