Action Replay

Action Replay is the brand name of the company Datel, under which a module cheat for game consoles and computers will be sold. The plug-in module is currently for Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation Portable ( PSP) available.

Overview

The plug-in module can freeze and store, for most consoles to find such stored saved games on the internet complete Scores. Furthermore, in-memory data of a running game can be manipulated to bring about, for example, extra lives, infinite ammo for weapons or the like.

The first Action Replay was constructed in the 1980s for the C64, was succeeded by Action Replay II, III, IV and VI. The Amiga version was also called Action Replay, and contained an adjustable via potentiometer " brake", which reduced the operating speed and thus the game speed. Of these, there were three versions of the A500, A2000 and the A1200 later. Successors were the versions Action Replay Mk II and Mk III.
