Activation
Activation, or activating, going to the adjective active (Latin activus: " operate effectively " ) back. The opposite of activation is inhibition ( inhibition). Activation is generally put into action, a set in motion, and referred in particular:
- Activation ( radioactivity), the generation of radiation in a material by irradiation
