Acton Regional County Municipality
Acton is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the Montérégie administrative region and consists of eight subordinate administrative units (one city, two communities, a Canton community, a village and three Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Acton Vale. The population is 15,342 and the area of 579.00 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 26.5 inhabitants per km ².
