Adalbert Marksteiner
Adalbert Mark Steiner, Hungarian Béla Marosvári, ( born 1919 ) is a retired Romanian- Hungarian footballer and coach. He played in the Romanian Divizia A and the Hungarian Nemzeti National Championship.
Career as a player
Adalbert Mark Steiner began his career at Ripensia Timişoara, where he aufrückte into the first team in 1937 and immediately became the most successful scorers. On September 19, 1937, he made his debut in the highest Romanian league, the Divizia A, and was able to finish the season win the championship. In the following season Mark Steiner missed his team as runner-up behind Venus Bucharest Although clearly the title defense, but he himself became the top scorer with 21 goals.
In the fall of 1940, Mark Steiner moved to Hungary and joined Csepel SC Budapest, the Hungarian game in the highest class, the Nemzeti National Championship, took. There he could win the championship in the years 1942, 1943 and 1948 again before he finished his career.
National
Mark Steiner played for both the Romanian and the Hungarian national football team. He made his debut on May 7, 1939 Romania against Yugoslavia. On May 16, 1943 followed by a full international for Hungary against Switzerland.
Career as a coach
After the end of his active career Mark Steiner was hired as a coach at some Hungarian clubs, yet without being able to achieve notable success.
