Adalbert Zafirov

Adalbert Zafirow ( born September 29, 1969) is a former Bulgarian football player. He played on the position of central defender.

Zafirow joined CSKA Sofia in 1997 by the Bundesliga Arminia Bielefeld, where he played 10 Bundesliga games and two second division games. In 1998, he transferred to 1 FC Union Berlin, before he went back to CSKA Sofia in 2001. In the following years, he moved several more times and the club was founded in 2002 Cherno More Varna, 2003 Anagennisi Derynia and again in 2004 to CSKA Sofia, where he ended his career in 2005. Six times he ran for the national team of Bulgaria.
