Adam (1992 film)

Adam is a British knetanimierter short film by Peter Lord from the year 1992.

Action

The Hand of God sets the naked man Adam on a globe. Adam builds a pillow and puts a blanket over and falls asleep, but the hand beats on the globe and Adam jumps up. The hand presses Adam a bundle in his hand and tells him to loszuwandern, but Adam comes after a while again and again at the origin point. He begins to form from the Earth's mass small lumps and throw them. They orbit the earth once small and eventually land on it.

Adam is depressed and sits on a small hill. Suddenly grips the hand into the earth and starts to mold a partner for Adam. He is thrilled to be forming a small fly and organized a bouquet. The hand is finished and presents its new companion next to Adam - a penguin. Adam and penguin are a little perplexed, finally rich hand and fin and fall at the end of the arms.

Awards

At the Festival d' Annecy Animation Peter Lord received in 1993 for Adam the audience award.

Adam was nominated for a 1992 BAFTA for Best Animated Short Film. In 1993 he ran in the competition for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ", but could not prevail against Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase itself.
