Adam Bielan

Adam Bielan ( born September 12, 1974 in Gdańsk ) is a Polish politician.

Bielan changed his party affiliation several times: in 1997, he initially joined the Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność in, but he left the following year. After a brief membership with two other parties, Stronnictwo Konserwatywno - Ludowe and Przymierze Prawicy, he moved in 2001 to the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. In 2010 he left this, however, and founded with some other members of the party Polska jest Najważniejsza. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the Sejm, since 2004 he is a member of the European Parliament, where he was Vice President from 2007 to 2009.
