Adam Colonia

Adam Colonia ( born August 12, 1634 Rotterdam, buried September 10, 1685 in London) was a Dutch painter.

Adam Colonia was a son of the painter Isaack Colonia and the Machtelge Jans. It was from his father, and probably by his grandfather Adam Louisz. Colonia trained. On December 25, 1661, he married Cornelia Ariens. 1670 he moved to London, where he remained until his death. He is believed to have died on 14 January 1685 but was only on September 10 at the Church of St. Martin-in -the-Fields in London buried.
