Adam Gontier

Adam Wade Gontier ( born May 21, 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario) was by the end of 2012, the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace.

Life

He has His interest in music from his parents, who heard all kinds of music. His mother was also it taught him perform live.

His bandmates Neil Sanderson, Brad Walst, Barry Stock as are from Norwood, Canada. On the sixth Apocalyptica album Worlds Collide, he is a guest vocalist on the song I Do not Care

2004 Adam married his high school sweetheart Naomi out of high school in Ontario. 2005 Gontier went to a rehab clinic in Toronto, where some songs from One-X were written, among others, Animal I Have Become, Pain, Gone Forever, Riot and Over and Over and Get Out Alive. The withdrawal helped him get away from his addiction.

December 21, 2012 Adam left the band Three Days Grace for personal reasons. Since then he is working on a career as a solo artist.
