Adam Kszczot

Adam Kszczot ( born September 2, 1989 in Opoczno ) is a Polish middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 - meter track.

In 2008, he finished fourth at the World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, and the following year he reached at the World Championships in Berlin the semifinals.

In 2010 he won the bronze medal in both the indoor world championships in Doha as well as at the European Championships in Barcelona. In 2011 he won at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and was sixth at the World Championships in Daegu.

At the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul in 2012 he finished fourth.

In March 2013 he won the gold medal in the 800 -meter run at the Indoor Athletics Championships 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

2009, 2010, he was Polish champion outdoors, 2009, 2010 and 2011 in the hall.

Adam Kszczot is trained by Stanisław Jaszczak and starts for the club RKS Łódź.
