Adam Larsen Kwarasey

Adambathia Kwarasey Larsen ( born December 12, 1987 in Oslo ) is a Ghanaian- Norwegian football goalkeeper who is the pro squad of the Norwegian first division side Strømsgodset IF since May 2007.

Kwarasey, son of a Ghanaian and a Norwegian, started playing football at Trosterud IL. He later transferred to Aalesunds FK and Vålerenga Oslo. After his move to Strømsgodset IF he came - now standing in the senior squad - on May 6, first time in 2007 in the Tippeligaen used. Since then, he played a total of 79 Tippeligaen games. On July 28 and August 4, 2011 Kwarasey came against Atlético Madrid two appearances in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

On 12 June 2008 Kwarasey came in the match against Iceland to his only use for the U- 21 team in Norway. He came on in the 86th minute for Andreas Lie and conceded in stoppage time the only Norwegian goal in a 4-1 draw.

After the world football governing body FIFA had agreed to a change of citizenship in June 2011, Kwarasey was first nominated in the following month for an international match of the national team of Ghana; the scheduled for August 9th game against Nigeria was postponed by two months. On September 2, 2011 Kwarasey was in a 2-0 win against Swaziland his debut in the national team; in the 0-1 defeat against Brazil three days later Kwarasey played his second senior international.
