Adam Mitchell (ice hockey)

Adam Mitchell ( born January 12, 1982 in Port Elgin, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since the 2013/14 season with the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Mitchell spent his college years at Colgate University, for their hockey team, he stood in the play mode of the NCAA on the ice, and moved to the beginning of the 2005/06 season in the German Oberliga to EV Landsberg, with whom he made the ascent to the 2nd Bundesliga. In his first season in Germany winger was voted player of the year 2005/ 06 in the league, a choice that was made this year for the first time in ESBG area. In addition, the right-handed shooter, he was nominated for the ESBG All Star Game and played there at the side of many top players from the organized by the Hockey operating company leagues.

In the season 2006/ 07 Adam Mitchell also played in the 2nd Bundesliga for the EV Landsberg 2000 and was with 26 goals and 38 assists in 52 games leading scorer of the team. Despite some offers from the German Ice Hockey League, the Canadian extended his contract at Bayern first for another year. After the EVL, however, had missed the playoffs the season, he spent the final round at the Austrian National division VEU Feldkirch, with whom he eventually was able to win the championship title of the second highest league.

On 12 December 2007 Mitchell Hannover Scorpions was taken out of the German Ice Hockey League contract, with whom he won the German championship in the 2009/10 season. For the season 2011/12 he was bound by the Adler Mannheim. After two seasons for the Mannheim winger signed a one-year contract with the Premier League rivals Hamburg Freezers.
