Adam James Smith ( born April 29, 1991, Leytonstone ) is an English footballer. The right-back, who is since his youth at Tottenham Hotspur under contract already played at several unterklassigen clubs on loan. He is also in the squad of the U-21 national team of his country.

Career

Youth

Smith comes from the youth department of Tottenham Hotspur and is in the extended circle of the professional squad since the summer of 2008. In August 2009, he spent three months at third division Wycombe Wanderers, before he joined in November the same year Torquay United. In the Football League Two he played 16 games for the Gulls. Smith went through so far, apart from the U -18, all junior teams of his country. With the U -20 in 2011, he took part in the World Cup in Colombia, where he played in all four games until leaving in the second round. Since September 2011, he is in the squad of U -21, for which he played ten games and in the successful qualification for the European Championships in Israel 2013 took part.
