Adam von Bodenstein

Adam of Bodenstein (* 1528 in Kemberg at Wittenberg; † February 1577 in Basel ) was a German physician and alchemist. He was born the son of originating from Karlstadt theologian Andreas Bodenstein and died in February 1577 in Basel at the plague. As the leading head of the German Frühparacelsismus Adam Bodenstein published from 1560 for over forty Paracelsus writings that significantly contributed to the emergence and development of the Paracelsism. But because he was "one wüssen " the Basel Medical Faculty edited this, it was the end of January 1564 excluded from " Facultet and Consilio ". Next apply Bodenstein together with Gerhard Dorn, John Oporinus, and Michael Toxites as an important translator of the works of Paracelsus.
