Adams State University

The Adams State College is a State University in Alamosa in the south of the U.S. state of Colorado. At the University 2308 students are enrolled. It is a so-called liberal arts college.

History

The university was founded in 1921 when Adams State Normal School, especially teacher training, named after the former Governor of Colorado William Adams.

Sports

The sports teams of the Adams State College are the Grizzlies. The University is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
