Adasi (Assyria)

Adasi is an Old Assyrian king, who is mainly known from the Assyrian King List. Landsberger puts him at around 1700 BC, and assumes that he reigned simultaneously with the Kassite rulers Gandiš / Ganda. According to the Assyrian King List, he succeeded, which is designated as a " son of a Nobody ", in contrast to his six direct predecessors to found a dynasty.
