The Addis Ababa Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. It is used mainly for football matches, but also has an athletics running track and can accommodate 35,000 spectators.

The stadium was built in the year 1940. In 1999, with regard to the orientation of the Junior Football African Cup of 2001, a thorough renovation. In the aligned by the CAF tournament the Junior team of the host took fourth place and thus qualified for the first time for a Junior World Cup.

The Addis Ababa Stadium is located in the city center near the train station Legehar and Meskel Square. In the stadium regularly hosts international football matches and athletics competitions. In the spring of 2008, the Africa Athletics Championships were held here.
