Addis Zemen (newspaper)

Addis Zemen ( Amharic አዲስ ዘመን, German Addis time) is outstanding since the 1960s daily newspaper published in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The headquarters of the daily newspaper located in the capital Addis Ababa. You are their copies in the official language of the covenant, Amharic, out and will be published at the same time as national press throughout the country.

Original - under the government of Mengistu Haile Mariam in the Democratic People's Republic of Ethiopia from 1987 - Addis Zemen was the official party newspaper of the Workers' Party of Ethiopia.

Since the fall of this form of rule by the Ethiopian People 's Revolutionary Democratic Front of the year 1991 it is not a communist party newspaper more but is still under the control of the government.
