Adeje

Adeje is a municipality in the southwest of the Canary island of Tenerife. It has an area of ​​105.94 km ² at an average altitude of 280 m above sea level. The population is 49,387 (as of 1 January 2013). Most important parts of municipalities are the tourist areas of Costa Adeje with the coalesced area of Torviscas / Playa Fanabe on the coast. Costa Adeje with Playa de Las Americas, which belongs to the municipality of Arona, grown together in the south. A large commercial area is located in the local situation " Los Olivos " west of Adeje on the highway. Attractions

  • The nature reserve Barranco del Infierno ( German: Hell Gorge ) with its varied flora and fauna and numerous terraces and steep slopes is one of the most popular attractions of the municipality.
  • Since 15 September 2008, the Siam Park in Costa Adeje has opened. The water park was built by the Loro Parque - owner Wolfgang Kiessling and can be visited conveniently with the Loro Park as a combined ticket.
