Adelaide Ferreira

Adelaide Ferreira (actually Maria Adelaide Mengas Matafome Ferreira, born September 23, 1959 in Alcanena ) is a Portuguese singer and actress.

First singles of her appeared in 1978, a hit in Portugal was the 1981's Skirt Single Baby Suicida. She won the Festival da Canção 1985 and was therefore entitled to compete for their country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg. With the ballad Penso em ti (Eu was ) they managed only 18th place

From the early 1980s, she was active in addition to the music as an actress. Your most significant role was in the 1980 feature film Kilas, o Mau as Fita. Since the mid- 1980s, you can see it in Portuguese telenovelas.
