Adele Goldstine

Adele Goldstine, nee Katz ( * December 21, 1920, † November 1964 ) was a mathematician and computer programmer. Adele Goldstine studied mathematics at Hunter College, New York and ballistics at the University of Michigan. She was the author of the first computer manual that she wrote about the use of the ENIAC computer.

Goldstine was the first wife of Herman H. Goldstine, with whom she was married from 1941 until her death.
