Adelheid village is a municipality in the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony in Wath. The community had on 31 December 2008 a total of 2506 inhabitants and covers an area of 33.24 km ².

Geography
To the municipality next to the village Adelheid village includes the villages ( districts ) Dasselsbruch and Great Moor. The community is located about 7 km south of Celle.
History
The colony Adelheid village was created in the course of the colonization of suitable parts of Wietze fracture in the years 1824-1839. 16 willing to settle out of large parts of the Kingdom of Hanover and from Westphalia settled " in Wester Zeller field, at the Hanover Street " and were down by so-called Meier Letters owner of the estate. Incorporations
On 1 January 1973 the municipality Großmoor and parts of the community were Westercelle ( areas south of Fuhsekanals ) incorporated with at that time little more than 300 inhabitants.

The Adelheidsdorf village life is marked by numerous clubs and associations. The community is located near the main road 3 between Hannover and Celle.
