History

Adel village was first mentioned in the Bamberg Festkalendarien as a gift of the provost Egilbert in the year 1121 AD The name suggests that the settlement took place under the leadership of a Otloh ( 1121 Otlohesdorf, 1369 Otelsdorf, 1460 Adel Dorff ). Economy, agriculture and forestry

Stiftung Schloss Adeldorf

The Foundation will ensure long-term preservation of the castle. For this, the castle of the community assets has been transferred to the foundation's assets.
