Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

Adewale Akinnuoye - Agbaje ( born August 22, 1967 in London ) is a British actor and screenwriter.

Life

Adewale Akinnuoye - Agbaje was born the son of Nigerian immigrants in London, where he grew up with his four sisters also. Later he studied at King's College London law and has worked as a fashion model in Milan before he decided on an acting career and a move to Los Angeles. Adewale speaks his native language Yoruba or English, Italian and Swahili. He is a practicing Buddhist and a sought-after actor.

First film experience he gained as a supporting actor in television series such as Red Shoe Diaries, New York Undercover and crackers before he made his film debut in Congo in 1995. His breakthrough came in 1997 with the HBO series Oz - hell behind bars. From 2005 to 2007 he played in the series Lost a major role.
