Adios is the 17th and so far last studio album by the German rock band Böhse Onkelz. It was released on 26 July 2004 on the band's own label Rule23 Recordings. Typical of the style of the album is primarily the autobiographical texts and the comparatively heavy riffs.

Cover design

The Cuban artist Pozo drew the artwork for the album and allowed a video clip for the song Onkelz vs.. Jesus, as well as a making-of, which was a DVD included with the album track. The cover is mostly decorated in blue and white colors and shows the silhouettes of the band members, as well as several city blocks. Central is adios and below the band logo Böhse Onkelz in yellow in red letters.

The song title is a blend of the words "hate " and "Hitler". In this song, the neo-Nazis are accused of wanting to restore the states from the time of National Socialism:

The band describes how she has been overestimated in their early years itself.

This song of farewell to the loyal fans was played after the release of the album on the remaining concerts often as the last song.

The song begins and ends with a sound of the sea and is played by three acoustic guitars. A.D.I.O.Z. is an instrumental and the slowest song on the album.

Chart success and Single

Adios rose in the 33rd week of the year 2004 at No. 1 in the German charts and stayed there for 3 weeks before it fell to position 2. Overall, the album was represented 17 weeks on the Top 100.

As a single, the song was Onkelz vs.. Jesus, including the album track Superstar, the cover- song My Generation and an instrumental version of the track Prince Valium, decoupled. The CD contained a ROM part. The single debuted at number 2 in the German charts, stayed 10 weeks in the Top 100 and sold over 150,000 times.
