The Adler Standard 6 is a passenger car with a six cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive the Adlerwerke Frankfurt / Main. As the first German car 1926 presented vehicle had a built in license by ATE Lockheed hydraulic braking system. The under German control - PS, also known as Eagle 10/45 hp car with a body of Ambi- Budd (Berlin- Johannisthal ) was a copy of the contemporary Chrysler models in essential parts. The classic bunk bed frame construction with rigid axles front and rear was initially offered with two different wheelbases. 13,959 vehicles of the first type 10N were sold until 1930.

In 1928 appeared the standard models 6A and 6S standard with more powerful engines. The 6A (type 12N ) had the short wheelbase, the 6S (type 12ns ) long. From 6A to 1933 10681 cars were built from 4135 to 1934 6S piece.

In 1933 the improved successor type 3U, which - like the smaller 2U favorite - had a low frame with independent front suspension and a four-speed transmission. This model was built until 1934 still 400 times.

From 1927 to 1929 Clärenore Stinnes flew around the globe with an eagle standard 6. This was the first circumnavigation of the world with a car.
