The Eagle Standard 8 is a car model, the automotive company Adler brought out in 1928. The traditional construction with rigid axles and high bed frame corresponded substantially to that of a year earlier published model standard 6 The car with rear-wheel drive, which was also known as 15/70, PS is, had an engine with 8 cylinders.
In 1931 the Standard 8 with a more powerful engine ( 15/80 hp). From both models until 1933 together 1,720 pieces were made.
1933, the improved successor eight-cylinder was placed on the market, which - as the smaller models favorite 2U and 3U Standard 6 - had a low frame with independent front suspension and a four-speed transmission. This model was built until 1934.
