(Also known as Eagle Rock ) The Eagle Rock is a 778 m high rock group from coarse-grained Turmalingranit south of the city Eibenstock in the Erzgebirge.

The steeply protruding from the spruce forest rock formation resembles by its ridges and blocks of a castle-like survey. From here you used to have a very good view of yew floor. Therefore, a small wooden watch-tower was built here in the late 19th century. Because of disrepair, this tower was demolished and not rebuilt again.

Slightly below the eagle rock is the Reutergut. From there you can enjoy the panoramic views of yew floor and the surrounding mountain ranges and the dam Eibenstock on a clear day. On the northern slope towards the city, there is a weather bobsled run and a ski lift.

To the east of Eagle Rock runs the Carl Fields climbing as a three - dams Trail between Zeisiggesang ( 922 m) and Bridge Mountain (964 m ) to the hamlet of Carl field.
