Adobe Photoshop Elements

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a software for image processing, which is tailored specifically for the home user area. Photoshop Elements is the little brother of Adobe Photoshop, were taken from the technically many functions. However, Photoshop Elements has a different user interface that is designed to make interesting functions for beginners easy to find, to offer enough features without advanced users. The current version is Photoshop Elements 12, which offers a variety of tool functions and effects. New in version 11 is among other things a geotagging feature; has been greatly revised as the "Quick Edit Mode". In version 10 additional filters that can be applied to parts of the image, and an image recognition were especially added.

The program is designed so that even inexperienced users can handle it without long learning; to various automatic functions are integrated. Photoshop Elements includes a photo management program for Windows but not for Mac. For the latter, the image recognition is not available.
