Adolf Friedrich von Reinhard

Adolf Friedrich Reinhard ( born January 19, 1726 Strelitz; † August 6, 1783 in Wetzlar ) was a German jurist and publicist.

The son of a privy councilor, and lawyers studied law and theology at Thorn and Hall. 1748 Reinhard Secretary of Justice office in Neustrelitz. 1770 appointed him Duke Friedrich of Mecklenburg professor at the University Biitzow. In 1779 he was appointed to the Imperial Chamber Court in Wetzlar. After he received the imperial title of nobility.

In his polemic against journalism Reinhard Lessing, Herder, Wieland, Klopstock and Alexander Pope and against Leibnitz and Christian Wolff.
