Adolf Winkelmann (film director)

Adolf Winkelmann ( born April 10, 1946 in Hallenberg ) is a German film director, film producer and professor for film - design (concept and design ) in the Department of Design at the Fachhochschule Dortmund. His theatrical and television films have received numerous awards. As part of the project RUHR.2010 Winkelmann has a video installation at the Dortmunder U building designed and implemented, which was taken in May 2010.

Winkelmann was, together with his then-wife Jutta Winkelmann and their twin sister Gisela Getty one of the founders of the Kassel film collective.
