Adolf Zsigmondy

Adolph ZSIGMONDY ( born April 24, 1816 in Bratislava, † June 23, 1880 ) was an Austrian dentist. Promotions in Vienna in 1840 as MD, 1843 Dr. chir. and 1853 to the dentist. In 1848 he was chief physician of the Criminal house while serving during and after the siege of Vienna as chief physician of the wounded - Notspitals " Augarten ".

He was a member of Moriz Heider, a pioneer in the field of scientific dentistry, and continued its work. But he was known by his development of the dental chart after ZSIGMONDY, which is sometimes common even today.

In addition, he was the dentist of the Empress Sisi.
