Adrian Foster

Adrian Foster ( born January 15, 1982 in Lethbridge, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently with the Straubing Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Adrian Foster began his career as a hockey player in Canadian junior Western Hockey League in which he was active for the Saskatoon Blades and Brandon Wheat Kings from 1999 to 2002. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the first round than a total of 28 players from the New Jersey Devils, for whom he never played, however. Instead, the attacker ran for four years on to their farm team in the American Hockey League, the Albany River Rats. As a New Jersey Devils, the Lowell took over as the new AHL farm team, he also joined in the AHL to Lowell.

After Foster was active for the Houston Aeros in the AHL in the 2007/ 08 season, he joined the following season for EC Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Hockey League, with whom he failed in the finals for the championship at the EC KAC.

In the summer of 2009 he took part in a training camp of the Philadelphia Flyers, but could not reach a conclusion. Then the Americans signed a contract with Dinamo Riga sample from the Kontinental Hockey League, although not extended this. On 26 January 2010, the Frankfurt Lions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga tasks known to have committed the Center for the rest of the season 2009/10.

After Foster in the 2010/ 11 first seven games completed for Örebro HK in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan, he moved in January 2011 to the Straubing Tigers in the German Hockey League. The season 2011/12 season started Foster first in the AHL with the Lake Erie Monsters before he moved to the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the DEL. There he received a new contract after the season of 2012.
