Adrien Mörk

Adrien Mörk ( born September 19, 1979 in Montbeliard, France ) is a French professional golfer in the European Challenge Tour. He is the first golfer in the history of European professional tournament series, which was able to complete a round of 60 strokes, one 59.

This dream result Mörk succeeded on 26 May 2006 in the second round of the Morocco Open, the Golf du Soleil (par 71) course in Agadir. He recorded an Eagle, twelve birdies, four pars and a double- bogey that cost him the absolute world record on his score card. On the North American PGA TOUR so far three players were also able to record a 59 round, Al Geiberger (1977 ), Chip Beck (1991 ) and David Duval (1999). The 19 birdies, which could achieve Mörk on the first two rounds of the tournament, set a world record in any case dar. After two weaker finals he won the event ultimately only by one shot.

Due to this performance Adrien Mörk received an invitation to a European Tour event, the Austrian Open 2006, but there could not survive the cut. After another win on the Challenge Tour, he was ranked 20th in the annual ranking and thus qualified for the European Tour's 2007 season. At the end of the season, he finished there the 271st rank in the European Tour Order of Merit and missed the further eligibility to clear.
