Adrijanci

Adrijanci (Hungarian Andorháza, German: Small sound ) is a village and a municipality in Slovenia Gornji Petrovci. The village is located about 2 km north of the community center on the old road Gornji Petrovci - Šalovci.

The scattered village has about 215 inhabitants and is distributed partially on the Talung of Adrijanski brook, 263 m, and the two subsequent hills. The individual groups of houses in the valley carry the field names Sojkini, Zavcini, Ferencini and Lepošini. Some higher-lying farmsteads are named with Borinje, Idukini, Mijokini and Beznovini.

In the north and south the slopes are partially wooded, to weather- protected locations orchards have been created and on the hill Vreje several vineyards are processed.

History

The place is first documented in documented in 1366 with " Adrian in valle seu dystrictu Sool ", the designation Sool refers to the neighboring community Šalovci. In 1499 the settlement is mentioned in a transcript with Odoryancz and in a protocol of the Diocese of Gyor / Raab for 1698 is held that the place " Fölsö Sal seu Odriáncz " the Catholic parish is Holy Trinity in Petrocz ( Gornji Petrovci ) belong.

In 1890, the village is officially designated Andorháza and had 424 inhabitants, of whom 419 declared themselves as Slovenes, 4 as German and gave no nationality. The place was in the district Muraszombat, today Murska Sobota, Vas county / iron castle.

The Treaty of Trianon hit the village on 4 June 1920 to the Kingdom of SHS. For the city is now officially called 1921 Adrijanci following data were recorded in the census on 31 January found: 407 Slovenes, of these 407 residents 29 and 378 known to the Catholic to the Protestant faith.

In the census of 1931 392 inhabitants were calculated, in 1961 there were 316, and for 1971 the following figures are available: 289 inhabitants, 74 houses, 73 households and 240 villagers who live exclusively by agriculture.
