Adwa (volcano)

The Adwa (also Aabida, Amoissa, Dabita ) is a 1733 m high stratovolcano in the southern Afar region of Ethiopia. The volcano is located in direct proximity to Ayelu and has a 4 x 5 km wide caldera. In the center of the caldera volcanic exhalations in the form of fumaroles can be found today.
