Aelianus Tacticus

Aelianus Tacticus (Greek Αἰλιανὸς ὁ Τακτικὀς, * 1st century, † 2nd century ) was an ancient Greek military writer.

Aelianus wrote under the emperor Trajan ( 98-117 ) in Rome the work The tactics of the Greeks. Today, the plant is obtained only in a later, annotated from the tactics of Asklepiodotos output. In contrast, published under the name of Arrian business tactics reflects the text of the Aelianus in a purer form.
