The Société d' Application Électro - Mécanique was a French manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company from Asnières- sur -Seine began in 1921 with the production of automobiles. 1926 the company moved to Neuilly -sur -Seine. 1927 production ended. In addition to the brand name A.E.M. is also referred to as the name Électrocyclette; while it remains unclear whether it was brand or model name only.

Rolling stock

The company introduced electric cars here, especially for trips in the city suitable. The range was 100 km. The vehicles were offered as a one seater, two seater and vans. Some vehicles had front wheel drive. One source indicates that models were offered with petrol engines.
