Aerfer

The Aerfer SpA (Industrial Meccaniche Meridionali Aeronautiche e Ferrotranviarie SpA - ) was an Italian aircraft manufacturer. Which belongs to the IRI - Finmeccanica group company emerged from the industry Meccaniche Aeronautiche Meridionali ( IMAM ) in the 1950s. The aim of the Aerfer SpA was to continue with some broken end of the Second World War developments in aviation technology.

The types Aerfer Sagittario II and Aerfer Ariete emerged from this effort.

1969 Aerfer by merger with Salmoiraghi and the aircraft division of the Fiat Group (Fiat Aviazione ) part of the Aeritalia Group.
