AERONET

AERONET ( AErosol RObotic NETwork ) is a network of soil -based sun photometers that measure the atmospheric aerosol properties. The stations consist of solar-powered CIMEL CE 318A photometers that measure the direct solar radiation and the light of heaven in several wavelengths in the visible and near-infrared spectrum.

AERONET performs continuous measurements of spectral aerosol optical thickness of the atmospheric water vapor content and the ozone content.
